Can't install python docs in texinfo format

Documentation

I downloaded python docs in texinfo format from the official site. I unpacked an archive and run sudo make install-info. Everything seemed fine, but running info python fails with the following message: Cannot find node ''

It's working for me with Debian 12 Bookworm (via Docker on macOS) and the 3.14 texinfo from https://docs.python.org/3/archives/python-3.14-docs-texinfo.zip:

What system are you on? Which texinfo did you download? Can you copy and paste the full output of the install and the info commands?

@hugovk I downloaded the same archive. I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 and installed info from official repos. info version is 6.8

@hugovk it's working when installed like in your example under root. But when installed with sudo make install-info it's not.
