RDR2 from rockstar launcher not added to steam

I downloaded RDR2 from the Rockstar launcher, but the plugin isn't detecting it or adding it to Steam. I've tried both autoscan and manual scans, but nothing works. The game works but it doesn't appear in my Steam library; I can only launch it by first running the Rockstar launcher.
